I’m Niket, Poduct Designer and Developer based on Pune. A Performance-driven and knowledgeable Product Design and Development Engineer with 5+ years of extensive experience in coordinating complete development of multiple products, implementing new processes and procedures, and producing detailed technical drawings and Models.
I have been a designer for the firm that I had worked for in the past. It is part of developement as the designing of the product plays a very crucial role in the development at the time of idea generation and Proto part developement. Some of my work is mentioned below in detail.
I develop products for various customers of the company I work for. It accounts the whole journey of the product from the start of idea generation to the start of production. I have developed more than 30 products for the customers till now and counting.
Product engineering deals with the process of innovating, designing, developing, testing and deploying any product. I have been testing and validating many products in the testing lab where I researched and developed them with best of PLM.

A linear absorber is a passive vibration control device that can be used to reduce the vibration of a structure. It consists of a spring-mass system that is tuned to the resonant frequency of the structure. When the structure vibrates, the absorber absorbs some of the energy and reduces the vibration amplitude.

The molding is done with three methods i.e. compression, transfer and injection type of molding. In all the methods the common parts are the top and bottom platen which heat up and support the vulcanization process. These molds are used as per the requirement of the process based on the efficeint productivity.

Bonded bush makes a big contribution in the performance of the vehicle. It consists of two tubes with rubber bonded between them. They are designed to be used as vibration isolators for vehicles. They go through several load and have to be tested accordingly one of which is Bonding Test. In this the inner tube go through application of load on it which shears out the rubber and makes the breakage of the link between the rubber and the tube. In this test if proper metal preparation is not done it leads to Rubber to Metal Failure where the rubber is not bonded to the tubes properly.

The antivibration mounts have been part of vehicle from long time. The main task of it is to reduce the vibration from the engine to the body/ chassis. In this damping of the vibration plays a crucial role in the NVH operation. The damping of the mount is related to the stiffness of the mount as the ability of the mount to ansorb the shock is more in the higher stiffness mounts.

Rubber is the material with high elasticity, low thermal and electric conductivity. The hardness of the rubber plays a vital role with the elongation factor. The elastic limit of the rubber gets hampered with higher hardness and also the performance of the rubber parts in the vehicles. Each hardness has its own stiffness curves based on the which we can select a proper rubber for the operation purpose.

In this scenario the host and the ego vehicle are travelling with the given velocity and the vehicle is leaving the lane of the Ego vehicle which makes the host vehicle to reduce the speed at the turns. The MPCC adapts the speed based on the information recieved fronm the ego car and makes drive more smooth.
This project deals with the design and analsyis of portal axel based on the concept of Taguchi optimization to sustain the vehicle and transmission.
